BIOGRAPHY

I am a 29-year-old Vietnamese American, born and raised in Houston, Texas. The summer of 2006 is when I started dancing and crafting my technique, artistry, and musicality in the Hip Hop/Breaking culture. After graduating high school, I shared my passion for Breaking by teaching in the Houston surrounding area. When I was not teaching, I would travel to explore, perform, and/or compete in Breaking by myself or with my crew, The Brothers.
After many self-discoveries, I decided to go back to school and further my education at San Jacinto Community College (South Campus) and received an Associate of Arts in Dance. Upon returning to college, I joined a local Cirque/Circus Arts company that performs around Houston and sharpened my skill in one arm handstand balancing. After training, performing, and teaching one arm handstand balancing, I bridged my balancing passion from Breaking and Cirque arts to Yoga and trained with Lex Gillian at The Yoga Institute to complete my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training (RYTT-200), becoming a certified Yoga teacher. At the end of 2020, I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Sam Houston State University.
I will continue to learn and practice my love for dance and movement, with the support of my family and friends. With an open heart and curious mind, I will continue to explore my versatility as a learner, teacher, dancer, performer and person.
